URL Snooper Opinions on FileForum
What cant I say thats good about this program? I mean, it does everything its designed to do and it does it well. Very seldom does a program of this caliber cross the internet. If you are sick of having to hunt down a url to a media file, use this, it will save you loads of time.

Fundraiser Day 25

It's friday and Day 25 of the Fundraiser -- we're in the home stretch!

Today DC member skwire released a Steam Url Converter, a tiny utility for people who use the Steam gaming platform:
Steam allows you to create shortcuts on your desktop to launch games.  However, these shortcuts are not standard Windows .LNK files.  They are .URL files and, sometimes, they don't show the proper icon for the intended game even if the .URL file contains the correct information.  This app tries to solve the issue by converting the .URL shortcut into a .LNK shortcut.  Simply drag the .URL file onto the SteamURLConverter.exe file and it will immediately create a .LNK file in the same folder as the .URL file.

And I released an important update to Python ProtoCards, my open source Python library to help card game designers rapidly prototype printed card designs.

Enjoy the weekend, and stay tuned for the final details of the end-of-fundraiser giant giveaway that will be posted in the next couple of days!

Fundraiser Day 23 - More Updates

It's day 23 of the Fundraiser, just one more week left!

For today I released 3 updates:

Android apps micro reviews

GoogleReader1.png
Last December I switched from a Windows Mobile to an Android phone. This opened up the exciting and vast world of apps and widgets to me. In the past three months I've looked at many apps and widgets, tried some, read about others, tried to find the best ones fitting my needs.

Here I present a selection of apps which I find most useful describing them with a few words only. All the apps presented here are either free or quite cheap.

If you're using an app other than the ones I present here that cover the same or similar functionality or if you'd like to have more information on any of these apps please let me know.

Note: phitsc also posted some Android widget micro reviews.
