Here's a collection of various tips and tricks for using Screenshot Captor:
• | Hold down the SHIFT key while selecting a directory from the MoveTo menu to navigate to the directory instead of moving images to it. |
• | Hold down the CTRL key while selecting a directory from the MoveTo menu to copy the files to the chosen directory |
• | Hold down both SHIFT+CTRL key while selecting a directory from the MoveTo menu to move the files AND then switch to the chosen directory. |
• | If you have to draw lots of arrows or place lots of objects, you might want to change the default behavior of the program and UNCHECK switch into object selection mode after adding a new object. |
• | Remember that you can quickly rename a file and change file format by simply typing a new name in the FileName box and hitting enter (learn more). |
• | Hold down the ALT key while resizing an object to preserve the aspect ratio. |
• | You can also Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and paste objects. |
• | Hit Ctrl+Q to delete the current image. |
• | Use the arrow keys to nudge the current selected area by one pixel, hold shift to change size by one pixel, hold ctrl to change size symmetrically. |
