Absolute easiest spending decision I've ever made!
Your extremely quick reply and generously open licensing policy made the contribution an absolute no-brainer. If Publisher's Clearing House ever drops off that big check, I'll make a hundred donations! I have received the license key and the instructions were crystal clear. Please keep up the great work.

Global Spell Check Tool Wanted

blog clipart
A member on our forum asks:

I would like a program to check the text I type in every application (text editor, web browser, etc) and to be able to include/exclude applications

I want to check the spelling and either correct it on-the-fly, or the program to suggest me about possible corrections (with a nice dropdown menu or something)
...
I want to type something and the program to autocomplete the words I begin to type like OpenOffice does (openoffice's is nice, if there is anything better it would be ok) autocomplete should monitor the most frequently used words in the specific document and suggest them first or globally (in all documents) monitor most frequently used words..

New DonationCoder.com Program Release: TapTap Hotkey Extender

TapTap.png
TapTap Hotkey Extender is a tiny super-efficient tray-based utility (under <100k) for keyboard fanatics.

It monitors for certain unusual hotkey combinations not supported by most programs (like doubletap right shift key). When such hotkey combinations are detected, TapTap will simulate a normal hotkey that the user has configured.

In this way, you can configure any of your programs to respond to these extended hotkey events as if they supported it natively.

Example:
  • You might have a program which normally triggers on Alt+Ctrl+F5, but you want to configure it to trigger with a double tap of the right control key. You can use TapTap to detect Right Control Doubletap events, and send a Ctrl+Alt+F5 when it does. In this way, you can control your programs the way you want to, and they never know the difference.

Written in lean and mean C++ and highly optimized for insignificant cpu/memory access.

Smilies With Speech Bubbles

While looking for some smilies I stumbled upon a pretty neat site for smilies - Mazeguy's Smilies. They even have a online application to create your own smilie speech bubbles like the ones below.
