I liked the idea of your site so, if I  can save some money with the code for BBFlashback the least I can do is plough a bit of it back..

The great defrag shootout - giant review

Screenshot - 6_11_2007 , 12_45_33 PM_thumb.png
Donn Edwards has written a comprehensive review, called "The great defrag shootout", covering just about every defrag app out there for the Windows platform. It is an interesting read and Donn clearly has spent a lot of time on this defrag investigation of his.

toddandkeelee free software

TKBanner-2.jpg
Via MajorGeeks I have found a new interesting freeware site today, "toddandkeelee"(!!):

http://www.toddandke...ee.com/software.html

Some of the free stuff:
MSKeyViewer Plus
Keys-Large.gif
A program created to view program installation keys, service pack levels, and product IDs along with detecting many other non-licensed program versions.  Works for most versions of Microsoft Windows, Office, Exchange, SQL Server, Norton AntiVirus 2004-2007, and more!  A complete list of supported programs is included in the About window of the program.
IPConfig Manager
IPCfgManager.gif
IPConfig Manager was created to give users a graphical representation of the DOS command 'IPConfig'.  Most of the command-line features of IPConfig are found in this utility.  The program will display a list of all available network connections and allow you to manipulate them if you have the proper permissions to do so.
This program has been designed to work with Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista.  Please note that UAC (User Access Control) restrictions with Windows Vista may prevent this program from running correctly.  A help file is included to give more details on how the program works.
Outlook Extras
OLExtrasLogo.gif
When you open attachments in Outlook such as Word documents, the files are stored in a hidden location and are not removed.  I created this small utility to change the default path so you can easily find and delete them.  If the Outlook Security Patch is installed, many attachment file types are blocked and you are not allowed to open them.  This utility will allow you to unblock the extensions you wish.  Finally, when you create a new .pst file, the default location is normally buried deep within a long list of directories on the computer.  This utility will allow you to change that default path to something like 'My Documents' so that you can find your .pst files more easily.

There are some more to be found at this little fine site: http://www.toddandke...ee.com/software.html

Returnil Virtual System

I don't have the required technical insight to test this (I don't even understand HOW it can be done if there is no free RAM), but I really think "someone" should give it a thorough "member mini review", as the idea itself sounds interesting:

Simple, Smart and Strong Approach to PC Safety

Note From the Authors:
“All testers are eligible (by e-mail request) for free 30-day licensing during the Public Beta. Moreover, those testers who provide the best feedback will receive a free, one-year license with our gratitude for helping make this Public Beta a success.

It is time to reject outdated thinking and get proactive with your system integrity protection! By participating in the Public Beta, you will be verifying and supporting a completely new approach to computer security. Moreover, you will be helping yourself by discovering that security does not have to be complicated to be effective and relevant!

We have completed work on two new features we will be adding this coming week for testing. The first is an option that will allow the authorized user to change their language preferences from within the RVS GUI. The second feature will add an optional button to Internet Explorer that allows the user to turn on System Protection from within their browser. Fire Fox and Opera support are still under development, but we should have something ready for testing within the next couple of weeks.”
