Help Gold Miner Joe explore the legendary gold mines and strike it rich!

- Control Joe by using the arrow keys. Jump by pressing the Z key.
- Joe can throw rocks by pressing the A key.
- Collect all gold nuggets on the level. You can see how many nuggets are left by looking at the gold meter at the top of the screen.
- When you have collected all the gold, the exit will open. Press the Up key when you have found the exit to move on to the next level.
- Enemies are bad for your health. If they come in groups, you can drop a dynamite stick by pressing the space bar. Be sure to leave the area quick! ...

Good documentation may exclude in many cases the need for further forms of technical support. It is, however, not easy to write. One of the reasons why this happens is that it is difficult for shareware authors or other software developers to put themselves into the users ’ shoes, since they are already thoroughly familiar with the application.

The artwork that you see in my gallery has been created by a parse/render workflow system that has been - and continues to be - in continuous development (by yours truly) since April 2004.

My interest in creating three-dimensional representations of classic arcade, console and computer game characters sprung from a fairly fruitless web search for a retro-arcade-based desktop for my iMac.
