The Forum Seals the Deal
I have been trying out your Find & Run Robot and I am liking it. As a former user of Type & Run, I prefer the added utilty you have in F&RR. I went back to your site and wanted to check out some more offerings. Found your forum and downloaded a great little script for AutoHotKey (capshift.ahk) and though it was great. Decided to join then & there. I will be checking out your other utilities. I like what you have so far and like your attitude.

IDEA: Destop Files/Folders to Date-Folder Catogarizer

blog clipart
Hi,
small Idea for massive internet users, who download a lot of freeware stuff to the desktop.
Maybe someone could code a program, which stays in tray and waits until shutdown to move all files/folder to a special folder with the Date (and time) as Name (DD.MM.YYYY), except some special permanent files/folders?

Making the switch from Windows to Mac? Read this first.

PCMag.com's David Epstein provides a very handy list for those moving to Mac.

Macs are elegant; Macs are powerful; Macs are, for the time being, remarkably safe from infection. But when people tell you that Macs are "intuitive," you're well within your rights to sneer. In my ten years of using Macs, I've found them no more intuitive than Windows PCs, perhaps even a little less so. If you're a recent or prospective switcher, you might avoid some trial and error by dipping into the following grab bag of factoids and advice.

Well, that just about scratches the surface. Mac aficionados will note with displeasure that I haven't said a word about Time Machine, Dashboard widgets, Spaces, Automator, or any of several thousand other things you're probably going to like.

I noticed this blog in the blog roll over at ghacks.net, and it looks like an excellent site for software fans.. Nicely laid out with short interesting posts.

[How To] Control your computer by voice commands

shootblogpostscreenshotgl4.png
You can control Windows XP computer by using a free program called Shoot. It uses the in-built Microsoft speech technology. I wrote a blog post with a short video where I open browser, search, open and close tabs, switch tabs; run notepad, calculator etc. by issuing voice commands.
