Screen Stream - Broadcast your live desktop stream to others (free)The issue of software to share your desktop with others was raised most recently in this thread on our forum. Here's a free solution which doesn't require any special software (though note that users can't control your pc only watch it). ScreenStream lets others 'watch' your screen on their computers over the network or the internet. It is the modern equivalent of the overhead projector. When you turn on screen sharing others on your network (or even the internet) can view what is on your screen by typing the link (and optional access code) into their internet browser.
