Some related stuff for mirc:

mIRC.Crypt - Cryptographically Secure IRC Channel System for mIRC and PGP, Developed by h <[email protected]>, http://noomorph.virtualave.net/mirc_dev/crypt.html, freeware; this looks to be a substantial, complicated, and powerful mod for mirc.  It uses pgp and an SSL proxy as a transmission medium.  Not known if this project is still maintained.
Mirc Blowfish - Blowfish encryption for mIRC, Copyright (C) 2001 Gustavo Picon, http://www.aircscript.com/ [email protected], freeware; this is a very bare bones mirc dll wrapper for mIRC which supports basic functions like /encrypt KEY TEXT, etc.
blowcrypt - minimal script wrapping tabo's blowfish.dll above.
CryptoIrc - mIRC Secure Communications Addon, Copyright © 1997 Richard J. Werner and Erin Clemett, SpngBrain, shareware; http://www.die-horde.de/CryptIRC/index.html, close in functionality to mircryption; runs a standalone app as a transport medium; works on mirc 5.0+.  No longer maintained - developer's now working on Enigma2, http://complat.sourceforge.net/, a jabber client.
Purenoise - another proxy-based type irc cryptographic utility, http://www.purenoise.li/html/online_privacy.html, free (but source code is not available) and being actively developed; looks quite powerful; has nice features for automatic key generation and key exchange. intended to work on generic irc, icq, and other systems.  It is unclear if the purenoise developers plan to release source code for purenoise.
Klaatu's mIRC Crypto (kmc) Add-On - script and dll combo, http://www.borg.com/~chuck/programs.htm, meant for encrypting private query and dcc conversations. has public key exchange, nice. comes with source code.
gaim-e cryptographic plugin for linux that used gnupg (http://gaim-e.sourceforge.net/)
psybnc built-in encryption - some bncs (like psybnc) have the ability to encrypt and decrypt text automatically.  The real problem with using a bnc proxy as your encryption engine is that the traffic from you to the bnc is unencrypted, so that the bnc owner and anyone on route could read your plain text.
mirc ssl - http://www.netknowledgebase.com/tutorials/mircssl.html - free script for using an ssl proxy for encyrpted connection.  [see also http://michiel.steman.nl/axenet/axe4/index.php?page=ssl]
Ronop SecureChat - http://www.ronop.com - free addon for mirc. implements tons of high quality algorithms. no source provided. mirc interface not too convenient.
StunTour SSL Enabler for mIRC - http://www.bovine.net/~jlawson/coding/stuntour/ - addon for easily connecting to ssl networks.
InvisibleNet - http://www.invisiblenet.net/  - Invisible Irc Project.  Nice looking proxy-style strong encryption using special servers.  Good documentation, open source, multiplatform. Works with special server network which hides user ips, but cant connect easily to existing irc networks like efnet, undernet, dalnet, etc.  Might be possible that honeypot servers can read your traffic(?).  Could be used with mircryption.
linknet - http://linknet.no-ip.org/ - an ssl-based secure irc network, use with StunTour above.
Pow Encode - http://www.mircscripts.org/comments.php?id=1910 - encryption addon for mirc.
SILC - http://www.silcnet.org - Secure Internet Live Chat - multiplatform open source encrypted irc client, looks great, been around since 2001.
FISH - http://earth.prohosting.com/testing3/FiSH/ - nice blow and mircryption compatible addon for mirc which has a great open source DH key exchange dll (the dll is compatible with mircryption).
