Roku Radio Snooper operates by default in a "simple" mode which tries hard to make your life easy.
• | Just run the program and it will attempt to locate any SoundBridge and SoundBridge Radio devices on your network, and automatically detect which of several network adapter drivers works best with your internet connection. |
• | If your SoundBridge device and network adapter is properly identify, the program will begin sniffing all network traffic automatically. |
• | Now just visit a website with an audio stream you are interested in and start playing the stream. |
• | Hit Ctrl+F5 or the Refresh button in your browser to force the page to reload if no results are found, in case the page was "cached" in your computers memory and not fetched from the site recently. |
Roku Radio Snooper will try to detect the hidden url to the stream and display it in its results list.
When stream urls are extracted they are automatically checked for SoundBridge compatibility, which is shown in the rightmost column. When you find a url you are interested in:
• | Select a url and then use the buttons on the upper right to quickly play the stream or add it to a preset. |
• | You can also easily view and manage your current SoundBridge presets. |
Should you need more advanced control over settings and options, you can switch to Advanced mode from the File menu.
