Checking SoundBridge Compatibility

Your SoundBridge device can play a wide variety of streaming media formats - but some formats may not be compatible with your device.

To help you identify compatible streams, Roku Radio Snooper will, by default, verify the compatibility of stream URLs as they are discovered.  This can take a bit of time so the program automatically checks them in the background.

You can disable the automatic checking of stream compatibility by unchecking the checkbox "Test SoundBridge compatibility of URLs automatically in the background."

Even when this feature is disabled, you can still check a specific URL whenever you want by right clicking on the URL and selecting "Test SoundBridge Compatibility of this URL."
